Indian Melon Sea Shells - Melo melo. The sea shell is smooth and globose with small ridges. The aperture is wide with three colomeller folds. Coloring is generally yellow-orange with brown markings. This seashell is common from Malaysia to South China Sea. Usually found on mud to depths of 10 meters. Also referred to the name bailor sea shell because it was used by locals to bail out water from their boats
